Project HOPE is recruiting two nursing volunteers, with a Masters Degree or PhD in Nursing or related field and more than five years of working experience, to join in the international nursing program at Wuhan University, China.
HOPE School of Nursing, co-founded by Wuhan University and Project HOPE, is the first international academic cooperation institution of nursing education in China. Learning from advanced educational concepts of America, the school has gradually formed a complete multi-level nursing educational system with undergraduate program, master program, doctoral program, and continuing educational programs. It has created an international nursing undergraduate program from Sept. 2011.
1. Teach students in international nursing program. ( internal medicine, maternity, pediatric, surgery, mental health, public health). Teaching responsibilities include classroom lecture, lab supervising and clinical supervising, course and curriculum development, student advising
2. Assist with the review of papers of Master students in Nursing science.
3. Teach English for nursing students.
4. Train faculty of HOPE School of Nursing to build a good English competence.
Volunteers will be expected to stay a minimum of 6 months. Air travel expenses and lodging are covered. Volunteer will be responsible for meals, visa cost, medical services, immunization cost and local transportation. A daily stipend is being offered.
