Work culture is inclusive and there is a place for everyone at this firm. Colleagues become your friends when needed, and do not hesitate in supporting you in whatever arena one needs help in.I absolutely cherished my time in Accenture. Gained immeasurable learnings and made a great bunch of friends too.
That is what they call it. It is truly great place to work with. Off course, with growing competition you have to keep yourself updated and work hard but that is in every organisation. Accenture has a good work life balance, They have open door HR policies so you feel secure. However, Accenture demands outcomes and performance so it is not an organisation where you can take things for granted. PS: my feedback is based on my experience from 2007. I have some friends working in Accenture and they have mentioned that it is still GPTW.
Can't think of any
unspoken culture of "office first, family later",work becomes stagnant since most project are support based, working on challenging assignments is a matter of luck not merit, managers do gaslight employees, expect to be treated like a machine not a human, excess politics at supervisor and above level, can lose job anytime, very little opportunity to grow,
Has quota for women and promotions for women, pay is good if you join as experienced hire
dont adhere to own policies, expect retaliation if asking for roll off, expect salary cuts, future decided by managers mood not merit
My experience with Accenture is great, we know we should not fall in love with company but still it makes you do that. Its my 12th year with Accenture.Very friendly people, great policies, Medical benefits, LOA and WFH in case of family priorities. In the technology landscape, every employee gets chance to upgrade and stay ahead in the market. Recent Cloud drive made almost everyone to learn about various cloud technologies and certifications were sponsored :).Lot of Investments are done on employees learning and at the same time on mental health and myxperience activities where people can show case their hobbies,
Good work culture, great scope to learn and apply, free to move on various functional areas, onsite opportunities, support to Diversity
Supervisor has lot of powers so its difficult if you dont get along well.
Overall the organisation is excellent and has a pool of opportunities to learn and explore. However what it clearly lacks is work/life balance as the work timings are very long and along with travel time individual spends 13-14 hours away from home. Good management and learning it offers is the most enjoyable part
I sincerely regret my decision of quitting Accenture. One of the best organization to work for. Good salary, good increments, good manager, active and friendly HRs. If you get an opportunity to work here just go for it.
Work-life balance(depends on the deal though), Management, Salary, Work
Too much paperwork while joining
