If you put the effort into getting hours, you will make a decent amount of money. Make sure to wait for certain surges so an increase pay is possible

Only good thing is deadon manager.

Overworked , underpaid and under appreciated. One of the hardest jobs going , £700 per week doesn’t make the job worth it . Reason why there is such a high driver turnover rate

Not understanding of the fact that drivers run into issues. Construction,detours,not being able to access apartment buildings

Not understanding of the fact that drivers run into issues. Construction,detours,incorrect gps directions. So busy being concerned about the quick delivery of a package,and not the genuine safety of the driver. Way to many packages given for routes

Maximum 4 hour work per block Pay rate is good But mostly they sent York Harrogate middlesborough Random block no personal choice to pick Early blocksAfternoon blocks Evening blocks as wellFresh and morrison grocery blocks as well

You don't make any money

Driving all day hours away from home going down harsh muddy bumpy roads out in the middle of nowhere tearing up my vehicle on roads not suitable for driving where you could easily get stuck or damage your vehicle. They send their vans on the easy routes and the flex drivers on the tear up your vehicle routes. They are scamming people by telling them they are making 22 an hour no your making maybe 15 by the time you finish and you have to pay for your gas and eventually all the wear and tear on your vehicle

Reliable shifts but hard work

Enjoyed my time working with the electric vans, had a good manager, work is not easy, but support is provided if you are behind during working hours.The pay was always on time and you can rely on fixed weekly wage and work upto 6 days a week

Horrible job unless you're used to a dirty environment that demands you work 50+ hours a week year round with around 180 houses daily.

What is the best part of working at the company?Being a step van driver is one of the worst experiences of my life. You are called to rescue other drivers after you finish going to 180 more of less houses daily at the DSP temp I work for. Your treated as a replaceable employee once you find out the only time you can use the bathroom or take a break is after you delivered enough packages to relieve yourself. The a/c heater sometimes works in some vans and usually you ride with a engine light on. You don't have to drive it but if you refuse & nothing else is available you don't get paid for that day and could face a write up. You usually get called for a fifth day, but you have to manage your hours to make sure you have 40 hours on your fourth day. Lunches are usually at the end of your shift so you don't get behind. If you structure your day and move fast enough you can finish with a good time. But Dogbites and injuries are your responsibility to treat.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Since I made a full note I'll say Shandy Holdings isn't the best choice to work as a DSPWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company?Dirty. Outdoors and unorganized. You have to come to work early just to know if Amazon is doing any events for employees and you never know where you're going until you get there. Take breaks and lunches daily so you don't get overwhelmed by houses -

Don't waste your time!

I thought Amazon Flex was a great idea, choose when you work and be your own boss! Well if you are happy ending up worse off in the longrun, destroying your car travelling up and down battered country lanes increasing your mileage by tens of thousands and spending a fortune on petrol all for the privilege of earning less than minimum wage then flex is for you! It just is not worth it, they have packaged the opportunity very well and many have taken the bait, anyway go get those blocks and run around like a maniac for Amazon it should pay off in the end lmao.

Flexible

It was ok to work during the Covid time as it was no traffic and people was at home. Other then that you will not make much money and very easy to get a fine if no parking around

Not a bad gig

Easy money on your own schedule. Short shifts ranging from 3-5 hours, drive your own vehicle, and picking up your route is easy too. Some of the policies don't always make sense, but it's not a bad gig at all.

Any undeliverable packages are returned to the station that day or by 10 am the next morning.

One day is too long and is an awful lot of time for a little amount of money.

It is a stressful place to work. As an Amazon Flex employee, there are packages you can get from stations at specific times but it still takes way too much time and then when the time is finished to deliver, they say that the packages were not delivered. What is this?

Comenzó excelente pero bajó su pago considerablemente, la app funciona bien pero con las flotillas nuevas que llegaron, hay poco trabajo y mucha demanda, por lo que los precios por ruta bajaron, muchas veces no conviene o no hay rutas para el cedis de Guadalupe

Pick your schedule and deliver

Once you are accepted into the program you will choose blocks when they are available. Sometimes they might be hard to come by but they are there, you can pick them to where they fit your time frame. Accept the block show up to your block deliver and get paid.use customer service for any problems. If you cannot finish your block on time don't work overtime. Unless they tell you they will pay you.

There are good and bad days

The job itself is what you make of it. Most of your deliveries will be in one general area but there is some pressure to complete a high number if deliveries in a timely manner after they feel you have been employed long enough. Pay is decent but it is a lot of work some days.

Too many parcels

Way too many parcels for £99 self employed per day. Can be over 300 per day. It’s a self employed job using their van but only just minimum wage with the hours it takes.
