Challaging but I learned a lot on both tech skills and social skills after the intern

As an intern, time is flexible. I don't have to go to work everyday. My manager told me the outline of my intern. I have some subtasks to finish according to the outline. Colleges are friendly and willing to help me.

Mac Expert is literally phone sales in Retail Customer Care(or Retail Contact center), was excited to join Apple but got kind of overwhelmed as it is my first sales job, now that my weekly performance is good and stable, I can enjoy this job better

Great company culture with occasional weak management (I worked at Apple Stores in China)

I worked 8 hours a day, overtime was frown upon, if I had to work overtime I got paid for my time. leadership in early years was amazing, but with the rapid expansion in China, leadership got average and sometimes even below average. new managers cared more about number than people, and the old "enriching lives" and "people care" environment has long gone.I was in management, I was happy with my salary, stocks, and benefits in general. career development slowed down as the expansion slowed down. I loved my colleagues, great team.

productive and enjoyable workplace with good benefits

Working at apple is enjoyable. Not only are its salary and benefits decent, but also the fun and sincere atmosphere helped me greatly to join the work team. The skill and apple culture trainings were comprehensive and detailed. They scheduled my working hours and on and off days. Because it’s retail business, my working dates were not fixed from Monday to Friday, but any day in a week. Apple make sure its 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Apple’s work atmosphere was easy and fun. Managers will have a chat with you regularly to assess your states and your expectation from your current position and where your next goal is. Performances were assessed on weekly basis.

Fun working environment, but not all managers are qualified for their jobs

The colleagues around you are creative, innovative, fun and easy going. However, management team is not that friendly. To achieve the sales target or other index, they will do whatever it takes and neglect staff's feeling. Another benefit of working at Apple is that you could get employee discount for yourself and your friends. Overall, I love workin at Apple!
