Working in Asia while communicating with Europe and US company departments was very challenging in both time management, and information efficiency. Asian customers were also very demanding in timing, information clarity, expectation fulfillment, and ability to follow protocols.
All these put a very challenging, and difficult environment to do business. Managing communication clarity, and expectations of different cultures spanning the globe brought out my best personal skills in behavioral science. But the reward was in that I was able to satisfy them often enough to have become trusted business partner, and personal friend.
