fun working place with great people

The days were very busy and long but that sometimes was good because long working hours went by fast, also there were a lot of employees close in age (high school and college) so it was easy to get along with everyone. Managers were good, but sometimes had their own problems between themselves

Wish it paid more but it works well as a second job or if your in school and need to change your availiability a lot.

Good high school job

I worked her in high school and it was a great job, with great people. They had goals, but it is not like there was any problem if they were not hit as long as you were doing your job. I loved working there.

great place but bad management

Place was good to work at but wouldn’t give more pay to u if u asked even if they “appreciate” you. Working are good and fun to work with and schedule is very easy. Management is a little rough and needed to hire more people.

Boring

I honestly didn't enjoy working in here, most of the workers are not friendly the management sucks. The only time I enjoyed working is when 3-4 of my classmates are also working with me.

Nice job to start

I loved working here until management changed, new management was rude and changed so much of the store it was hard to change so quickly. They also let go some of the best people too which was sad

Good place to work

I have no complaints. I get plenty of hours and am fairly compensated. It can be stressful at times, but that is due to the fact that nobody wants to work.

Busy

The management team was the only downside to my experience as they were not professional and didn’t respect the needs of the employers. But the work was straightforward and you can always take time off or leave early for whatever reason.

Good job coming out of High school

Good job because of the discounts on clothes, located downtown so there’s lots of restaurants out there, and it’s typical work environment. Wouldn’t recommend driving out there, blue line is right behind block 37.

Pretty flexible work schedule and decent pay. Management is great!

I have worked for this company for almost 2 years now and it's really decent pay. What gets tiring is the repetitive nature of the job, but the management is great and like to spice things up for their employees

Ok place to work

Banana Republic employees receive a 50% discount at Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy. The management was awesome they are very nice and help you reach your goals. However, the pay wasn’t great. Most of the time it is laid back and can get boring when no customers are in the store. During peak hours on the weekends can be stressful at times.

Easy going if the management is doing their part

Fun job with decent pay, If management isn’t good then problems will come one after another, if management is good the job is beyond easy and plenty of hours if you ask for them at least.

Great job for high school

I started at this job when I was in high school, and they were very accommodating with my schedule and typical high school demands. Though the pay was low, it was to be expected for a retail job as a sales associate.

Decent job for part-time.

Typical day consisted of folding clothes, ringing up people at the cashier. They were pretty flexible with scheduling too and easy to work with. Not too bad of a job.

As someone who picked up a lot of hours when there was an issue of many people calling off, I wish I could have been better appreciated. Management seems like an impossible goal to reach.

Great work environment

management was amazing, made the work environment very fun & light hearted. the compensation vs workload ratio is way off so be prepared to be underpaid & over worked.

It is a great start into the workforce

My location had a great team that worked well together. It is a great entry level job to start working at. Managers are great working with. Only negatives are that hours may be cut depending on how well our sales are that month and be prepared to have difficult customers from time to time. The associates are a vibe and we tend to work well with each other most of the time. Just be motivated to open cards and loyalty accounts.

Team work; not so stressful unless it is a major retail holiday like Black Friday

Hours are dependant on how well the sales of the store is doing and may be cut at any time.

Only worth working here during holiday

I was getting more than enough hours over the holiday but as soon as the holidays were over, only the managers were getting 40 hours. They just don't have the hours for people once the holidays are over. If you want a job that will be consistent and will get you enough money to pay rent even, stay away from here and any retail whatsoever. Not to mention the absolute mind-numbing tasks you will be assigned like: fold those clothes, fold these clothes, fold those other clothes.

Management did not support team on a daily job duties

I felt disconnected from management they didn't give me a clear goal for daily tasks. They were only concerned about credit cards​ being opened up by customers​. Everyone in the store constantly asking if shoppers to get a credit card
