Not a bad place to work, they don't give you enough hours. Would have been better if they would of cross trained. I basically store at the entrance of the door and didnt move around.

Management makes or breaks a work environment

Working in retail is typically not fun, but when the management of a store is great, that makes the job great. The Owensboro team is phenomenal. Occasionally getting free product is nice too.

Good job for what it's worth.

It's a basic retail job. Busy during the holidays and special sale events. The downside is there isn't a lot of opportunity to advance unless some leaves their position.

Come for the discount, Stay for the employees

This is a stressful place to work. The customer base is rough and it is exhausting, especially during the holiday seasons. The discount is very nice, but not the pay. The pay isn't why you stay though. Most of the people who work here are patient, kind, and understanding. The hours can be both brutal or inconsistent, depending on the season but usually the work environment makes up for it. Moving up in the company can be easy if the spots are available, but the pay could and should be better

Supportive and friendly work environment

Loved working here! I worked for 2 years as a sales associate and loved the people I worked with and the job is fairly straight forward and very fun on the days we get shipment haha.

Fun but tough

Meeting sales targets was all they talked about. Had fun but it was clouded by the constant pushy selling techniques. Managers were good but seemed stretched thin.

good job and good environment. it requires a lot of retention to customers. i have learned all the names of the fragrances. management is good but they could be a bit strict. floor sets are a bit difficult for beginners

Fun place to work

The hardest part of the job was rush hours because I barely worked with not enough hours. Not knowing anything at all! Because I was new. Didn't learn anything

So Fun!

I loved working here..The management was so great.. I would have stayed longer if the hours were full time. Lots of perks and a fun environment I would recommend working here

Limited hours and growth opportunities

Some weeks would only receive one three hour shift. Definitely felt like a cliquey environment. Gratis was a nice bonus but I will not be reapplying .

Great job

Great Job, Great Work Relationship. Great job for someone that’s looking for their first job. Alot of customer interaction. Some days could be hectic but good outweighed the bad.

Bad management

The store manager was rude the dress code was very strict barely any hours put you on register the whole time cause full time employees didn't want to do it over all terrible experience will never shop there again

Fun and Easy but No Hours

Pretty easy work. But unless you are a keyholder, you can expect maybe 4-10 hours per week. Good side job but don't apply expecting good hours, so be prepared

Drama , pay sucks !

A lot of drama a few fights bossy environment all about a sale no matter how the employee is feeling you don’t matter only money matters they would have company parties to celebrate all the hard work the employees did and we weren’t even invited customers can treat you like garbage and it wouldn’t matter because they are spending money the pay is terrible great for experience to put on a resume but other then that it’s a no for me ! Manager was rude and uptight ! The hardest part of the job was dealing with disrespectful customers and employees! I learned how to work a register ! Most enjoyable part when I’m at lunch or getting ready to go home ! Work place culture is confusing! Typical day at work feet hurting dealing with disrespect and not getting paid enough for it even though the company makes billions !

Fun, Exciting Workplace But Little Hours

Working here was pretty fun as you get benefits such as an employee discount and gratis. However there is a lot of push to be constantly selling and engaging with customers. There’s also not that many hours you’re scheduled for as a part-time employee unless you pick up other people’s shifts.

Good Company but NO HOURS

It is Very Clicky only give hours when it's needed for them, use you and nit pick every little thing you do if you're seasonal very little hours and have to fight get a shift . If you don't do well in their eyes you don't get any shifts and it's hard because you ABSOLUTELY MUST talk to every customer ask and basically harass customers to promote sales and build their baskets otherwise you get a talking too when in general most customers if they want help but they'll come to us and ask. all in all not good to work for if you need a steady flow of income and also hours you're lucky if you get 2-3 shifts on a biweelky pay

Hours lacking. Hired too many core after holiday

I was hired as a seasonal cashier but kept on as a core team member. After the holiday season there were weeks that I was only offered 2 hours for the entire week.

Toxic management and complete over working

I was constantly berated at this job and would get yelled at for asking simple questions like where to find a product in the stock room. Bathroom breaks were monitored, interactions with customers were timed and tracked and if we didn't reengage with someone every 30 seconds we were in trouble. Had to ask for emails a minimum of 3 times at check out or we wouldn't be allowed to work cash.
