In 2020, Global Patient Week went virtual, but our mission remained the same: to connect and inspire our global team as we continue to transform patients’ lives through science.

During the 2020 Global Patient Week, Bristol Myers Squibb sponsored “BMS for Community,” an initiative to challenge employees, their families, and our global patients to move 1 million minutes. In return, Bristol Myers Squibb pledged to donate $1 million to support the American Red Cross & International Federation of the Red Cross.

Bristol Myers Squibb and the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation have announced a commitment to invest $300 million by 2025 to accelerate health equity and diversity and inclusion efforts. We will focus on 1) addressing health disparities, 2) increasing clinical trial diversity, 3) expanding our supplier diversity program, 4) expanding our U.S. Employee Giving Program and 5) increasing our workforce diversity.
