En sentido general, no es un buen ambiente laboral

Solo puedo hablar por la ubicación de central Austin. El salario es bueno pero No es un lugar agradable para trabajar, no hay buen ambiente laboral y la gestión de dirección es mala.

Complicated, because some people were jealous of some co workers skills to succeed and do a great job.

It is a place where outsiders and people from Central America get used and loosed.

If you have the option, it is advisable not to go to that place. Otherwise, you will be subjected to an excessive workload where they will pressure you to work not only for yourself but also for the relatives of the management. When you become exhausted from this demanding environment, you may find yourself surrounded by the management's relatives, who were given lighter responsibilities despite working alongside you, and for whom you were required to shoulder the majority of the job responsibilities.

Management sucks

management never was on the same page as any bartenders, very hostile communications between with management, also very unsupportive. The hotel discount was the only reason I dealt with them.

Opportunities to move up

If you are willing to put in the work and sacrifice some holidays and weekends, there is plenty of opportunity in this business to move up into better paying roles. A big con of this industry is the necessity to be available on weekends and holidays, and the low pay starting out. If you cannot deal with that, do not enjoy working with people, or don't have thick skin, this industry is not for you.

Management is the worst

The immaturity and pettiness of management makes working here a literal nightmare. They take advantage of anyone they can, they don't appreciate hard work. Some people get away with anything, some people get fired for taking a break. 0/10 do not recommend

Cool environment

Working at The Embassy Beachwood has its up and down like everywhere. The main problem is the staff is short so getting time off is hard but the pros are the discounts and benefits.

I love working here and have been at the company for a long time. However I feel like there is not much opportunity for growth and the pay is just not what it should be. Ok for students or single adults

My good co op experience

My manager was really good and supportive. Co worker are really fun but you have to work hard then they will help you when they see the effort.I don’t like the most is on call in the morning it is really disturbing.

Was fun and a great job until Management ruined everything

I have never been disrespected by a company as I have this Embassy Suites. I was directly threatened in my face multiple times by another employee and when I brought it to light, I was treated absolutely unfairly. This company plays favorites and does not follow Hilton police’s like they say they do. It’s like being back in high school. No one does their job, no one works together and everyone clashes.

Good pay and conditions, typical government work

If you want to make a change and an impact in your work, this may not be the place for you. Dealing with the Australian time zone from the US is challenging, but the pay and conditions are good

A kind and friendly place to work

The manager is kind and the coworkers are fun and friendly. They welcome the new coworkers with open arms. It is definitely a place that I enjoyed working at.

Good Benefits

I loved working for the Hilton brands. Good tips during the busy season but that ends with the season. I love to stay at Hiltons too so that is a major perk of the job for me. The discounts when staying at other Hilton's is awesome.

Management is terrible

Was layed off after 6 months and still have not received my vacation pay. No manager leadership and have to ask managers several times before they respond to for anything. To many managers who do not At work, I'll call when I get off and just collect pay. Do better Embassy.

Free lunch

Supervisors and management work 40 50 hours a week. And then they all grouchy at you. No one ever tells you you did a good job today. They refuse to put a sign up for the soap. You have to prime it three times before it gives you any soap and they refuse to put a sign up.

I was there 2ys .folks was coming in making 25cent less from me that wasnt fair i was a good worker . Your work wasn't noitice..want u to leave the position in order to get a raise

It’s a great company. I ran a lot from it and help me to understand how the restaurant works. But it was also touch challenges I had to overcome and I appreciate it for what embassy has taught me thank you
