Everyone here is treated like family, management staff is amazing and they really care about you. The guests are also a great part of the job, it is overall a great job for anyone.

great home life balance

one of the few hotels where you can leave for the day when you’re done with your work. of course you only get paid for the hours you stay, but there’s no “forcing” you to stay til the shift ends. do you work and leave. or do other work and help out to get ur hours.

Productive and a fun place to work.

While working there in the beginning, I do learn a lot of new skills every single day. My colleagues are very helpful including my supervisor, other.

Will never seek employment again

Embassy Suites do not care about their employees. We were treated very unfairly and expected to clean 25+ rooms in just 8 hours and if you don’t get all your rooms done and have to stay late then you will get fired. Management was extremely unfriendly. There was no enjoyable part of this job aside from the food and you were made to eat in a nasty cafe. They hire immigrants so they can work them to death.

A kind and friendly place to work

The manager is kind and the coworkers are fun and friendly. They welcome the new coworkers with open arms. It is definitely a place that I enjoyed working at.

I was there 2ys .folks was coming in making 25cent less from me that wasnt fair i was a good worker . Your work wasn't noitice..want u to leave the position in order to get a raise

Not worth the time

What is the best part of working at the company?The upper management treats the housekeepers like trash and the pay is horrible for the amount of work they have to do. And the never have supplies we need to do the job properly.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Not having what’s needed to clean properly and how unappreciated you feel.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Very bad! Fun work place

Good place to work, enjoyed working here. Great management team. My coworkers were very nice. Free meals. I would recommend this place for work. Had vacation time and great benefits

Decent workplace nice coworkers

Working as a housekeeper at Embassy Suites was okay. You had to do 16 rooms per 8 hour shifts. If you didn’t finish your rooms you would get in trouble. You receive a free lunch provided by the hotel and the pay was okay for the area.

What is the best part of working at the company?some of the food and the discountWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?the supervisors they are very unprofessional and really dont know how to treat their workers they are hiring every two weeks cant keep no workers will tell all your business and definitley will talk about to others the housemen will steal your tips housekeepers gets blamed for any and everything they will tell you its a teamwork place which is a lie a huge lie the inspectors dont do nothing but walks around the building they definitley dont change sheets an d instead of the inspectors training the new hires they will get another new hire to do their job they are very lazy at that place and its very sad wouldnt refer this job to noone but corporate they need a whole new housekeeping supervisor What is the work environment and culture like at the company?it sucks very poor unprofessional needs a new teamWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?stressful tired boring makes me not wanna refer anyone

Meet new people

You meet good people doing this job. Coworkers & guest that eventually become like your family. This hotel overwork their housekeepers with little to no help. The housekeepers was the least respected department in the entire hotel. We couldn’t get breakfast unless we made a 90% & up. When we did get that, they gave us the scraps from breakfast, meaning whatever was leftover after everybody else ate then we got it. Least paid & least respected.

Organized and a great place to work

My time working at Embassy Suites was very productive. I enjoyed the environment, the scenery, the customers were delightful. I enjoyed working with my fellow co-workers and overall it was great place to work

It is an environment for only certain ethnic

I was a public space attendant and helped in laundry . I always felt like I didn't belong here I dreaded going to work and in all the years I been working I have never felt like that anywhere not even at school as a child .

Stressing, lack of empathy to employees and lack of communication

Working here you have to have a strong will and not allow them to run you like a dog, otherwise they will play every game in the book to get their way. They also don’t care how you feel and they don’t compliment you when it’s due they’ll complain till the very end.

Fast-paced environment cleaning on a time-crunch

Pay is fair but could be better for hard work. Lack of equipment required to successfully complete daily work (No extra carts, spray bottles, brooms, vacuums, lack of towels and toiletries for guests). Employees are territorial of company equipment it’s best to bring your own. 12 rooms per employee each room realistically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to clean factoring in constant supply runs but management wants them done in 30 minutes. They prioritize the rooms marked ready as soon as possible over health standards and cleanliness.
