Colleagues are very helpful. the job is with challenges and also can make me grow fast to be an expert in the business area. Large work volume can practice my working ability and get used to organising and doing my work for the right thing at the right time. I like the collaborative work atmosphere in EY and nice human care from my former managers.
I performed an audit between general ledger, receipts, and lease contracts to ensure the cash account is valued fairly. When I have some tasks that I didn't know how to deal with, seniors answer my questions patiently with detail steps. I enjoyed the working environment and become good friends with them.
EY is already well-known for many people in related industry. As an intern there, I witnessed how heavy the workload was for employees. People had to be well-bulit for this job.
When I was doing my internship job in EY, I could feel the strong culture of the firm. It was a lot different with other Chinese companies I went to do internship before. EY requires employees to independently complete task and work with colleagues simultaneously. I was able to complete my job on time and help other colleagues with some of their job, for examples, contacting customers to get reply letter from them.
Work overtime everyday and this situation lasts for more than half year. The salary is not that good when considering the stressful work and heavy workload. Not every senior auditor and manager is friendly, but mine managers and co-workers are friendly.
