fast paced, excellent supervisors, poor management, underpaid

the job requires you to be fast paced while trying to hit certain targets though out the day/week. The supervisors are excellent and will help out where possible. upper management can be best described as poor at best and expect you to be able to keep up the same level of speed from monday to friday with a skeleton crew. the managers come in around 6am and start dishing out orders even though you've been doing the work for 6 hours prior to them turning up. non of the managers have started from the bottom so haven't got a clue how the operation works. pay is the lowest out of all the courier services

What is the best part of working at the company?Pay, training, management. Great workplace, how they treat you and care about you. Amazing benefits, easy to set up, vacation, personal and sick holidays . Great place to work, but can take awhile to be promoted. Good benefits but can be demanding work. Also good chance for overtime. Would recommend it as an entry level position.

Easy job, good benefits

I worked at FedEx Express full time for approximately 8 Months, before relocating my family to a different state. This job was probably the easiest that I have ever had. Pay was not great, but the benefits were quite good. I had a great manager, but some of the others were not so great. I definitely stayed in good shape while working here.

The company is always short staffed, when I left FedEx I was working 60 + hours a week. If somebody called out, you would get their work and you also get to work every 3rd. Saturday of the month.

Hours are inconsistent. A great place if you’re only looking for part time. Hours usually between 2-5hrs a day . A very proactive job. If you can’t lift over 40lbs, i don’t think this is the job for you.

Awsome company to work for 20 years ago

At FedEx you are your own boss . You know what's expected of you. Do that and you can move forward. At the time when I retired we all were just a number. You were required to go faster each day. Every year the company would give you a 3% raise but then they would require you too pay more for health insurance. After 911 the companies expectations were increased greatly and from that day you just needed to go fastet.

It was great working there when there was hours given to us. Ended up working 17 hours a week after 6 months. You have to pick up hours at the fed ex airport if you wanted good pay

Starting pay is low. Once you've been here a few years, the pay is not so bad. Management makes a lot of questionable decisions. Tasks are often delegated unfairly, and there is way too much emphasis on seniority.

The work is easy, and straightforward. Management is straight up the worst. They actively hunt down any employees they don't like and try to eliminate them. They're also not beholden to policy and can actively break policies if it means they're getting an employee on a disciplinary action.The benefits would be good but you better hope someone on your team knows how to access them because no one will tell you how to otherwise.

If you prefer to work independently and without micromanaging this is a great place to work. Generally, management is good as long as you show up and do the job as expected. Only con might be training. It could be better.

Productive and Positive Environment

My experience so far has been positive and gratifying. What I appreciate most is how willing everyone is to jump in and help each other out wherever needed. It is very fast paced and physical work, which I enjoy. Everyone works very hard, but lots of smiles and a great sense of teamwork. I highly recommend working for FedEx Express.
