A typical day at work is doing projects with kids, supervising the kids during recess, snacks, lunch and transition to a different class and doing tasks for the teachers.
I have learned so many things since I started working as a TA in ISB. Dealing with behavioral issues is one of the things I learned that I can apply everyday when supervising the kids. I have observed that children learn in different ways so you have to consider a variety of demonstration or instruction so they can utilize their individual strengths.
The management is very professional and they care about the needs of the employees.
My co-workers are very understanding and caring and very helpful. I can always rely on them.
The hardest part of the job is at the end of the day. I feel exhausted at the end of the day because I have to keep up with tasks and high energy of the kids. But it is very fulfilling.
The most enjoyable part of the day is when I work with kids in their projects. There is no boring day when I spend it with them.
