Learned a lot during the internship. A little bit off in Work-life balance. Tight schedule every day. Good management and company culture. Overall a good company to start the consulting or analyst career path.
- flexible work hours
- work routine is basic but leading, I was assigned daily tasks and followed up with senior leaders
- team management is very helpful and friendly, helped me get familiar with work tasks and environment
Life in MillwardBrown was not very easy since they were very strict with the work quality, and they were very responsible for their clients. The work in the company was stressful but very productive! I quite enjoyed working there.
Thinking creatively everyday on client needs and product innovation to improve competitiveness and profitability of the company; with quick changes to deal on daily basis, from people (high turnover industry), operation, and numbers.
Employees are young, fun and energetic., which is the most enjoyable part, that you get to new things, new ideas all the time and keep learning.
Challenge daily are coordination to balance departmental cooperation to be in line with company strategy achievement.
learn different kinds of skill. take you more time to work, you need to know how to improve your skill to meet the customer's need. Being a project manager, you need to deal with many trivial things every single day. so sometimes you don't have the weekend. the big thing i have learned is how to manage time, and how to balance different kinds of projects at the same time.
While the clients and quality of work are fairly high, there is little support given, and training is very basic.
Perhaps because it is a big company, there are a lot of problems with communication between departments.
Also the high staff turnover means that most colleagues will leave after a few months.
Supportive boss and team members
Can be busy during presentation seasons but basically is able to have a work/life balance
To fit well in this job needs strong analytical skills on data
enjoyable place to work in. Friendly team mates and leaders. Lots of projects to do so that everyday is meaningful and challenging. Even if we sometimes work overtime, the feeling of battling together gives a strong sense of belonging.
The company respects local cultural differences. Senior managers will send out birthday presents to employees in their birthday month and the company will hold significant celebration party during traditional festivals. Also, the company provides various kinds of opportunities to keep employees abreast with the edgy information and technology, including systematic training and invited guest talk. The hardest part of the job is to work overtime to satisfy the changing demands from clients. Fortunately, the senior managers will explain reasonably why those changes are necessary and plan accordingly.
