Benefits are good but the people who run this place need to go. Very few hard workers are carrying the whole warehouse. Products get lost because of the lazy ones. So many things wrong with this place.

If you're a parent, avoid employment here at all cost

Poor management and constant last minute schedule changes with no accommodations to childcare. Don't expect to work days or times you were hired for.

Worst shitf supervisor ever

There's absolutely no room for advancement unless you are related to someone with seniority, Shift supervisor is lazy and only looks for fault and never encourages his team

Good place to work

I would consider this a good place to work. Company is very flexible and mindful of personal time. Good benefits, pay is above average. Allows opportunity to move up within company.

Good luck advancing

You're expected to do your job while fixing the problems that engineers from California (that have never stepped foot in a factory) leave for you. It's hard to believe they get paid over 100k a year to do half a job. After fixing their jobs you would expect to advance your career... Nope. You're just doing engineer work for free.

No work home life, maternity leave is not full pay, no career advancement etc.

Need a great deal of organization.

Management lacks the ability to make a decision.Management is fearfull of their leadership.Promoting of people with lack of experience and ability to lead.Inability to properly understand market demand/affordability of their vehicles.Need more individuals with traditional automotive experience in order for them to survive.

Great Products, Great Engineering.

Overall I had a great experience! Lucid Motors has lean teams and that can become frustrating with Work/Life balance. Interaction between teams is very fluid and positive.The culture is good, but it could be better. Sometimes it seems as if C-suite doesn't have any trust in the teams they employ and that attitude tens to roll down to Directors, Sr. Managers, Engineers etc...Overall, this is a company that is now considered an upstart. There are a few hiccups but it truly is a great place to work, learn, educate and growth long-term.

Interesting job, questionable amount of hours

Spent 6 months working 32 hours a week, I'm Supposed to be a full time employee. They pay for 40 hours but 75% for the uncorked hours. It's easy work but no one knows what's going on ever. There is very poor planning.

Poor upper management

This company gives no recognition for your hard work.Recruiters were greatNo support from direct manager.HR department sucked so bad, not sure how they were even hired for their roles, had zero qualification.During my time as an associate manager, my team was great, really hardworking folks, but they didn't get any recognition. We started when there weren't any cars on the road and nobody could even test drive them, but we still did a lot of reservations, which is not easy for a start up company selling $100k cars. Studio manager had zero automotive sales experience, when ideas were presented based on previous automotive sales experience to improve sales, they were turned down because it would highlight their weakness.Dirty politics in that particular location because of leadership, other than that, there were also some very talented and supportive people in different departments of the company, leadership in other studio was more supportive than our own.So there were many wrong people in wrong roles, not just in studios but throughout the company in every department, HR was one of them as well.

Easy job. A lot of down time. Pay is great but hard to switch or transfer to different areas due to not enough people hired. Would go back if given the chance.

It a job

Their biggest mistake was hiring nothing but kids with no automotive skills or mechanical engineering experience. Only a small handful of employees had those experience, they rejected many people who had experience. All I saw was kids glued on their phone’s listening to music loud while getting paid $17+.That’s why this company is failing. Also if their so “dust conscious” then why have it built in the middle of nowhere in a state that’s known for dust.

Look elsewhere

The biggest plus working at Lucid is that they are so desperate that the pay is pretty good. There is a very high turnover because people do not stay long. There is no WFH and leadership expects you to be in the office from 8-5.Bad management from the top down, very inefficient and toxic on all levels. Expect to be constantly putting out fires then actually doing the work. You are reacting to unrealistic requests all the time. There are some great people and talent but they are all on their way out. Product is amazing but not work the hours of therapy and burnout that come along.

Most unorganized company ever

My schedule and overall hours have never been consistent. Management doesn’t hide that they have favorites and will move people around from station to station to keep their favorite people close.

Great Company for Automotive Lovers

Great work/life balance. Working directly with the manufacturer is a great plus compared to working for a typical dealership. Positive company culture that takes care of their employees. Best decision I have made in my career.

Chaos around every corner.

What is the best part of working at the company?Lucid is a company with no direction, zero accountability, schedules change almost monthly, no consistency, HR avoids sensitive issues, favoritism, and in general the front office doesn’t care about their employees implementing mandatory overtime and scheduling inventory on 4th of July and other major holiday’s.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?They don’t care to listen to employees and fix broken processes. They would rather require mandatory overtime.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Work environment is chaotic at best.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Focused on turning out fires rather than running an operation.

Management was horrible.

Honestly management was horrible. in my department there was over a year where they had us working 6 days a week 10 hour days and a lot of that we just sat because we didn't have any cars to inspect. When we got laid off there was over 3000 cars in the lot so why the heck were we working so much and wasting money and time?? The only thing that kept me there was the people I worked with.
