Very good company but project base. Not for long term. Company is respectable depending on the project director. The project ultimately decide the budget. Promised continuation even after receiving outstanding performance award but not recognized by other business unit. Unless you know the people it’s near impossible to get hire even when you are already working there. Very dependent on project directors and HUB recommendation. HUB is like an internet agency that manipulate hiring process for indirect hire- contact base.
Good accommodation provided by the company. Transportation to/from work by bus. Lunch at project site. Team building events allowed quick introduction with all coworkers. Interesting project with enough challenges and interesting tasks. Work load is more than enough. Good healthcare package.

90 percent of worked is on pc, material take-off, estimates, updating reports and database, keeping daily reports up to date, meeting with contractor and reconciled quantities from time to time, updating of IFC drawing for new revision. Workplace is workable and big space no recreation. Learn to be a team player, job is normal sometimes fun and enjoyable and sometimes is exhausted. The management is not keen is team building party,
Good management and good team works. Just the contractors do not have LNG modules assembly experiences, the schedule are too short and this the first LNG modules project for the contractors, need to provide and assist. the contractors time to time.

A typical day at work was a minimum of a 10 hour day, but the days went by very fast having so much to complete each day. With 16 Chinese sub contractors and my 20 plus quality team controlling the quality of every aspect of what they constructed.
Strong support from management helped drive quality awarness on the project.
The harest part of the job was to get the 16 subcontractors to follow the project quality standards.
The most enjoyable part of the project was winning awards for quality from Shell.

Gros privilèges pour les "titulaires" pour les sous traitants c'est moins bien. Bechtel et Fluor donnent des primes en cash en fin de chantier sans "discrimination" ce n'est pas le cas chez TP. Argent -30% par rapport à TOTAL. Logistic :rien de comparable.Temps de "rotation" plus important.Voyages en classes inférieures.
