Global Director of Human Resources

Company Overview:

Our client is a leading global B2B supplement company, currently undergoing a significant transformation aimed at achieving exponential growth. With almost 30 years of industry experience, they are poised to disrupt the market through innovation, value-driven solutions, and a global presence. Their operations span across major markets, including the US, Europe, Australia, China, South East Asia, and South America. They are in the early stages of a major transformation, with the goal of achieving 5x growth over the next five years and positioning themselves as a global leader in the supplement industry.

Position Overview:

The Global Director of Human Resources will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for developing and implementing human resources strategies that align with the company’s ambitious growth objectives. This role will lead the global HR function, ensuring that our HR practices support the transformation and expansion of the company. The Global HR Director will oversee all HR activities across our global operations, ensuring consistency and alignment with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement global HR strategies that support the company’s transformation and growth objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on all HR matters.
  • Lead the HR function in supporting the company’s goal of achieving 5x growth over the next five years.

2. Talent Acquisition and Development:

  • Design and execute a global talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent across all regions.
  • Oversee leadership development programs to build a pipeline of future leaders within the company.
  • Implement training and development initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees at all levels.

3. Organizational Development:

  • Drive organizational change initiatives that align with the company’s transformation goals.
  • Work closely with the Chief Growth Officer to ensure HR practices support the company’s transition from a siloed structure to a more integrated and collaborative culture.
  • Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

4. Global HR Operations:

  • Oversee global HR operations, ensuring consistency in HR practices across all regions.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in all countries of operation.
  • Manage global compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

5. Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction across all regions.
  • Lead efforts to improve communication and collaboration across different markets and functions.
  • Address employee relations issues and ensure a positive and productive work environment.

6. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

  • Champion DEI initiatives across the global organization, ensuring that diversity and inclusion are integral to the company’s culture.
  • Implement programs and policies that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.

7. HR Technology and Analytics:

  • Leverage HR technology and data analytics to drive informed decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Implement global HR systems that support the company’s growth and transformation efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a global HR role.
  • Proven experience in leading HR functions in a multinational company, preferably in the B2B or supplement industry.
  • Strong understanding of global HR practices, including talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
  • Experience in managing HR during periods of significant organizational change and transformation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to HR decision-making.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is a plus.
