Position Title: Kindergarten English Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for teaching young children, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons to kindergarten students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and development.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles.
• Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their academic and personal growth.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about students' progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
• Maintain classroom order and discipline, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, English, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or relevant credentials.
• Previous experience teaching young children, preferably in a kindergarten setting.
• Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children.
• Ability to manage a classroom and handle challenging behavior in a positive manner.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• TEFL/TESOL certification.
• Experience with bilingual or multilingual education.
• Familiarity with early childhood education best practices.

Cultural Adaptability:

• Demonstrate an openness and ability to adapt to a new cultural environment.
• Experience living or working abroad is highly preferred.
• Willingness to learn about and integrate into the Chinese culture.

Language Skills:

• Basic proficiency in the Mandarin Chinese is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn the basics of the Mandarin Chinese to enhance communication with students, parents, and staff.

Background Check:

• Clear criminal background check from the home country and any country where the candidate has resided for more than six months in the past five years.

References:

• Provide professional references, ideally including previous international employers or colleagues.

Relocation:

• Willingness to relocate and settle in China for the duration of the contract.
• The school may offer relocation assistance, including flights, housing assistance, and initial accommodation.
