What You'll Do: Responsibility

Supplier Qualification: Evaluate potential suppliers and Conduct supplier audits and assessments.

Quality Assurance: Develop quality assurance procedures for incoming materials Establish inspection criteria and train Internal Quality Control (IQC) to conduct appropriate inspections.

Supplier Development: Collaborate with suppliers to provide guidance and support in implementing corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and improve overall performance.

New product introduction: lead the introduction of new products (parts) or existing products from new suppliers. Ensuring timely completion of formal approval and implementation processes.

Supplier Monitoring: Regularly monitor supplier performance to address issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.

Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues related to supplied materials.

Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks associated with suppliers. Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of quality issues on production schedules and product quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality requirements and objectives across the supply chain.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of supplier qualifications, audits, inspections etc. Generate regular reports to stakeholders.

Sourcing new suppliers, in cooperation with the supply chain manager, source new suppliers in line with the departmental plans.

Who Should Apply? Where are we looking for?

We are seeking One Supplier Quality Engineer who has the education background of Mechanical and at least 5 years of experience in supplier quality management or similar role, this role requires a strong knowledge of quality management systems/tools/methodologies, as well as excellent problem solving skills and root cause analysis skills. Fluent English-speaking & Writing ability is needed.

This is a newly established position, the candidate who is good at creating procedures and proactively carries out work is welcomed.
