Job Overview:
Kinami is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Agent to join our growing team. As we are currently in the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) stage, this role requires a proactive self-starter with strong sales and communication skills to drive business growth in China.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation, managing the sales funnel, and closing wholesale deals—all while contributing to Kinami’s market expansion.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Sales Outreach
- Identify New Leads: Use platforms such as WeChat (primary tool for China), WhatsApp, Rednote, TikTok, Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others (Viber, Telegram, etc.) to find business opportunities.
- Conduct Outreach: Engage potential clients via WeChat, email, phone calls, and other messaging platforms.
- Trade Portals: Maintain attractive business profiles and respond promptly to inquiries.
Sales & Client Management
- Target Market: Focus on closing B2B wholesale deals across China.
- Negotiation: Handle pricing and shipping negotiations, particularly for large or custom orders.
- Order Processing: Ensure timely order entry and fulfillment through the appropriate warehouse.
Operations Collaboration
- Warehouse Coordination: Work with our warehouse team to check inventory levels, pricing, and sourcing.
- Finance Liaison: Coordinate with the finance team (based in Dubai) for invoicing and fulfillment.
Reporting & Performance
- Sales Goals: Aim for a monthly sales target of $100K (subject to adjustment).
- Sales Reporting: Submit regular sales reports, contribute to SOP creation, and conduct competitor research.
- Performance Review: Participate in reviews and help build a sales scorecard and quality assurance framework.
Conferences & Networking
- Event Representation: Attend industry events and generate 20–30 qualified leads per conference, with pre-arranged meetings where possible.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture industry connections to enhance Kinami’s presence in the market.
Qualifications:
- Proven B2B Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in reaching or exceeding targets.
- Bilingual Fluency: Proficiency in English and Mandarin (both spoken and written).
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay detail-oriented.
- Sales Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with WeChat and other lead generation tools.
- Negotiation Skills: Experience in price, shipping, and contract negotiation.
- Team Player: Comfortable collaborating across different time zones and functions.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: RM5,000 – RM6,000/month (commensurate with experience).
- Commission: 10% of net profits (after cost of goods, warehouse markup, and client shipping expenses).
- Bonus Structure: Commission applicable after achieving $50K in monthly sales. Thresholds may adjust after the initial trial period.
